NATIONAL First Nations Education conference 2026

100% ABORIGINAL OWNED

Together, we're building bridges between traditional knowledge and contemporary education, ensuring that the voices and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are at the center of every aspect of learning.

OUR STORY

The First Nations Education Conference 2026 was born from a shared vision between TIPIAC and Riley Callie Resources - two 100% First Nations-owned education businesses committed to transforming how we approach teaching and learning in Australia.

We recognised the need for a space where educators could connect authentically with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge systems, not as an add-on to existing curricula, but as foundational wisdom that has guided learning for over 65,000 years.

This conference is more than an event - it's a movement toward educational practices that honour Country, celebrate community voices, and provide practical tools for creating inclusive, culturally responsive classrooms.

Why Join Us?

Experience authentic First Nations-led education that honours Country, community, and practical teaching excellence.

First Nations Voices and Connection to Country

Learn directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators, Elders, and leaders.

Practical Workshops and Transformative Learning

Hands-on sessions with tools and strategies you can implement immediately in your classroom.

Connections and Community Networking

Build lasting connections with like-minded educators committed to inclusive, culturally responsive teaching.

The countdown is on!

The countdown is on and we cannot wait to welcome you.

This conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on 14th August 2026.

Educators from across the country are coming together to listen, learn, and walk alongside First Nations knowledge keepers, Elders, and leaders.

This conference is more than an event. It is a gathering of minds and hearts, a chance to deepen your cultural understanding, strengthen your practice, and return to your school with tools you can use straight away.

Make sure you secure your spot. You do not want to miss this powerful two-day learning experience.
